The Many Marvelous Songs We Sang at Tuckahoe, Claremont and Carlin Springs Elementary Schools in Arlington, VA in the 2013-2014 School Year

Posted on: June 29, 2014

In the 2013-2014 school year, I had the honor to share approximately 110, visiting the classes of Ms. Allen (2), Ms. Anctil, Mr. Grasso (3), Ms. Campbell (K), Ms. Coffman (3), Ms. Everett (K), Ms. Howard (2), Mr. Koppelman (2), Ms. Mason (K), Mr. Mitchell (K), Ms. Morgan (K), Miss Robin (Pre-K), Ms. Scackett (1), Ms. Torpy (4), Ms. Shorter (K), and Ms. Strickland (3) at Tuckahoe Elementary School, Claremont Elementary School, and Carlin Springs Elementary Schools in Arlington, VA.

It was such fun to add lots of great repertoire this year, many titles, including: Octopus’s GardenThe Gettysburg Address, When I Heard the Learn’d AstronomerBird LullabyTHE TUCKAHOE ELEMENTARY DISCOVERY SCHOOLYARD OUTDOOR CLASSROOM RULES TUNE PRINTABLE SONG SHEET (WITH GUITAR CHORDS) and Smokey the Bear

We enriched our experience with a whole orchestra of instruments including guitar, foot tambourines, kazoos, limberjacks, train whistles, and glockenspiel.
