The Songs We Sang at Tuckahoe and Claremont Schools During the Week of 2/12-2/15, 2013

I was sorry to have had to miss a couple Sing Books this week when my daughter had a cold.  This really is the season for sneezin’…

It was a delightful treat, though, to visit the classes of Ms. Campbell (K), Ms. Mason (K), Ms. Allen (2), Ms. Howard (2), Mr. Mitchell (K), Ms. Anctil (K), and Ms. Shorter (K).

We talked a lot about singing songs for Valentine’s Day and President’s Day this week.

In each class, we sang from a selection of songs in the following list of books (listed in alphabetical order),

We discussed some of the Robust Vocabulary in this song, including words like: frolicked, sealing wax and billow.
