I love Edward Lear’s poems and have run across William Mathias’s “Learsongs” on few occasions.  His musical settings are written with choral arrangements, but I feel certain that they can be arranged also for voice and piano, making the 5 of Lear’s poems Singable and creating Singable Picture Books of their illustrations.
