M’s Musical Museum

Posted on: March 3, 2017

When I was in 6th grade, my music teacher, Mr. Maniakas, gave me the part of a lifetime: Ruth in RUTH AND THE MUSICAL WAX MUSEUM.

Since music has become my life’s work, and because I love going to visit art in museums, I thought it would be fun to dedicate a post to one of my favorite performing experiences.

I love to visit museums and find artwork that depicts music, something musial or that reminds me of a song or other piece of music.

As I visit museums, I’m going to write a post about each work of art that inspires me in this way and then archive the links to each of those posts here to create this, M’S MUSICAL MUSEUM.

We start today 3/3/2017. My daughter as I will visit DC’s  Hillwood museum to see the Seasons exhibit of sculptures inspired by paintings by Arcimboldo.
