Impressions while walking, 1/4/2016

Posted on: January 4, 2017

106.
A bird singing out
Now that is the kind of tweet
I can believe in

105.
As holiday lights disappear
One at a time from the houses
I miss them
Striding the dark
A light glimmering, twinkling out
Is heart leapingly beautiful
The life in each of us is energy captured from the sun
We have this in common with the glow
Whether bulb or candle
Both animated by a spark given from our resident star
Maybe lights enthrall
Because something deep inside
Recognizes
And knows
How it all began

104.
Look out the window
Birds gathering in the trees
Rest before flying
