Sing Books with Emily, the Blog

YouTube is a fantastic resource for music.  YouTube videos have enhanced many of the posts in this blog.  You can sing along with many of them.  Some even have a karaoke kind of set up so you can read the words (this is terrific for emergent readers!) and sing-along at the same time.

I have begun to assemble (this, like everything else associated with my blog, will be forever “under construction” as I new things present themselves) a playlist on my YouTube Channel:

On the righthand side of the page are the PLAYLISTS.  Just look for SingBooksWithEmily Singable Picture Books and select the SEE ALL link.  You’ll get a display of all the Singable Picture Book songs so far assembled.  I haven’t figured out yet how to alphabetized this list, but will keep trying.

Just go to the playlists on my YouTube page, and you’ll see SingBooksWithEmily Singable Picture Books just click on a video and start singing! Not all of these are, by definition, “Singable Picture Book Videos.” 
To be and “official” Singable Picture Book Video, the video must feature 3 things:
Pictures, Words and Music.
