Pictures by kids are as valuable to me as any artwork by Alice Neel would have been (and I think she’s great, too).

A portrait of me by Alex, a Sing Books friend from Tuckahoe’s kindergarten this past year. He put on my favorite green glass bead necklace. I just love that!
