Sing Books with Emily, the Blog

DiversiTune, a terrific YouTube resource!

DiversiTune is a great resource to hear the music to tunes you might have forgotten.

Or you can just sing-along.

Here’s the link to the DiversiTune YouTube Channel Page:

When you get tot he page, use the SEARCH box to find the song you want to sing.

What I like about this channel of Karaoke Sing-Along songs is that they do use the “follow the bouncing ball” with the lyrics,  and you can choose videos with the music & melody, or just the music alone.

Especially nice is that the arrangements (all that I’ve heard so far) are not so cheezy as to make me run off in a fit of insanity.  Some of the karaoke videos (CD and MP3 sing-along tracks) are really just so awful that I cannot abide them at all.  These are just fine.  And especially when you need to hear a tune for singing a song with kids, it is a fantastic resource.
