This is a gorgeous book.  I love how it is organized with poetry about American History (many famous) in chronological order.  The water color illustrations are beautiful, inspiring, appropriate and evocative.

Many of the poem are singable (including, but not exclusively, since there are some which may be singable which I do not yet know are singable):
