Sing Books with Emily on Mr. Pascal’s Blog at Tuckahoe Elementary School

The other day I was sharing Sing Books in Mrs. Mrs. Morgan’s class when Mr. Pascal, Tuckahoe’s Assistant Principal, stopped in for a visit. He stayed for a couple of songs and took a couple pictures. This week, Mr. Pascal wrote about his Sing Books experience in his blog and posted a pic:

And on the musical side I had a chance to visit with Ms. Morgan’s class, one of the groups who gets to Sing with Emily each week. Mrs. G, also known as Tuckahoe parent Mrs. Gleichenhaus, entertains and teaches our students through books with song. Each title has a musical accompaniment, and it was evident this week that the kids have been paying attention. They sang along to You’re a Grand Old Flag, The Fifty Nifty States, and a story about all the “critters” on our Earth. I realized quickly where I should be spending more of my time!
