One of the reasons music is such an effective communicator is that it expresses what words cannot.  For example, how could one adequately describe a feeling of great joy?  That’s what I felt on Thursday for my first visit with Ms. A’s Ks new class of cuties.  I could never find the words to describe it, but I could SING the joy!!  And we certainly did sing a wonderful stack of joyous songs in our first gathering of the 2011/2012 school year.  Ms. A had already introduced the kids to a bunch fo the songs so they were already singing along right from the git-go.  FUN!
