WOW!  What a wonderful morning it was at the  Lake Ridge Neighborhood Library in Woodbridge, VA.  We had a wonderful group of friends to come and sing-along (and it was a special treat to see some familiar faces!).

Towards the end of the gathering, one of the children asked to hear “My Favorite Things.”  I did not have my books with me for that song, but I got to sing it for her anyway, which was a real treat for me.

Also, another friend brought me a library copy of “Skidamarink!”  I didn’t know that song before yesterday!  The little girl, her mom and the librarian sang the song for me complete with the arm movements.  An internet search revealed some cute Singable Picture Books for that song, which I will post along in the next couple of days.  Thank you friends for expanding the Sing Books repertoire and introducing new song and Singable Picture Books!
