Sing Books with Emily, the Blog

Archive for June 11th, 2011

It was an absolutely delightful afternoon of singing for the Ks yesterday.  Sadly, the last of this school year.  How I will miss those incredibly cute Ks.  At the end of our gathering, Ms. Anctil presented me with a folder full of cards made by the kids.  What package of treasure that is.  How lucky could a girl possibly get? Keep eyes peeled for a post with selections from this folder of joy from the wonderful children.  They were so good all year, fantastically behaved, enjoying the books and songs with open hearts and lovely voices.

Here’s what we sang:

*** ***
A-You’re Adorable
Words and Music by Buddy Kaye, Fred Wise and Sidney Lippman
Illustrated by Emily Leatha Everson Gleichenhaus
(The children sang this totally on their own without the book.  FABULOUS!)
