The Songs We Sang, 2/10/2011 at Congressional School Early Childhood Center
Posted by: Sing Books with Emily on: February 12, 2011
The Congressional School hosted me on 2/10/2011 for four sessions with children in their Early Childhood Center. What a rich and wonderful environment they have created for learning there. And many THANKS to Mrs. Stanly for making me feel so welcome!
In the 4 different sessions we sang songs from the following list of Singable Picture Books, many chosen to enrich areas of study including Black History Month, Human Body, Medieval Times/Renaissance, Fairy Tales, Community Helpers, and Valentine’s Day:
We began each of the sessions with the same 5 books,
