Fascinating!
Last night I discovered completely on accident that I was nominated for a 2010 Washington Area Music Association (WAMA) ”Wammie” in the “Cabaret Artist” category.

I only noticed this in the last couple hours of voting, and thought at first it was some kind of internet scam. The voting seems to have begun on January 11. Only members of WAMA can vote. It was just funny to find my name (and link to this blog!) on a list I didn’t know anything about.
But that was fun.
There is a “Fan’s Favorite Award!” Anyone can vote for that award and it sure would be fun if a friend or two of “Sing Books” would cast a vote! Here’s the link:
