The Songs We Sang, 5/18/2010
Posted on: May 19, 2010
Something magical happened today. We sang the Singable Picture Book, Sunrise, Sunset (that gorgeous song from the musical “Fiddler on the Roof”) in Ms. A’s kindergarten class this afternoon. When we got to the chorus, the children joined me in singing “Sunrise, sunset. Sunrise, sunset.” They came in spontaneously, in unison and singing in the most sweet-hearted, wistful voices. It was a wonderful moment I’ll never forget.
