Arlington is soggy with rain. Today’s list seemed mostly filled with lullabies and new songs…but looking now, we fit in a few favorites, too.

- Star Spangled Banner (Words by Francis Scott Key, Music by J. Stafford Smith, Illustrated by Peter Spier…today we just sang the first verse! But I’m hoping as the weeks go by for us to sing all FOUR verses of Francis Scott Key’s poem which became our National Anthem)
- We the Kids – The Preamble to the Constitution (Words By Gouverneur Morris and ”The Committee of Stile and Arrangement” of the US Constitution, Illustrated by David Catrow, We sing this to “The Preamble” song written by Lynn Ahrens for “Schoolhouse Rock!“)
